Mixed bilingual courses are an ideal opportunity for international meetings of schools from two different countries. During the stay at PROUD students can learn about the culture and language of their foreign friends and they can practice communication in a foreign language. Using games and animation activities students can learn basic words and phrases and develop communication skills. Students can enjoy adrenaline sports such as riding on boats, rafts, or scooters. We will go on a whole-day walking trip to the countryside and practice survival skills including fire-building, cooking on a camping cooker and even sleeping under the open sky. Communication takes place primarily in a foreign language (English or German). The specific content of the program can be adapted according to requirements of teachers from partner schools.
Students learn more about themselves and their classmates from the partner school, they communicate and collaborate in an international group, and they describe the cultural differences between the partner countries.
